This home is a love-note to French stylings, Italian design, and funky vintage finds—from a colorful hand-made tile table to a red-striped antique chair, we said okay let's have some fun. Tone was set with a hot pink rug, anchored by rich neutrals: brown marble table, tan leather sofa, stone mirror, black chair. This space was unique in that you could see across all the rooms into the bedroom, where we leaned classic and dramatic. Double curtains conceal an unexpected detail—the window doesn't extend beyond the sheer panel. The addition of black curtains work to frame the bedstead, one of the key investment pieces in this space, and can be pulled closed in the evenings.
