Art Store Orders

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the U.S. and may offer international shipping on a case-by-case basis. If you are outside the U.S. and interested in a piece, please reach out to hello@maisonburel.com before purchasing to discuss shipping options.

How long will my order take to ship?

Each order is carefully packaged and shipped within 5-7 business days via UPS. If your order requires special handling or custom packaging, additional time may be needed, and we’ll notify you accordingly.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Larger or fragile items may require custom shipping quotes, which we will provide before processing your order.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We take great care in packaging your order, but if your item arrives damaged, please email hello@maisonburel.com with photos of the item and packaging within 72 hours of delivery. We will assess the situation and determine the best resolution, whether that’s a replacement, store credit, or assistance in filing a claim with the carrier.

Can I pick up my order locally?

For customers in the Seattle area, local pickup or delivery for a small fee is available. If you’d like to arrange a pickup or local delivery please select this option at checkout. Items must be picked up within 14 days of purchase. If additional time is needed, reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you accept returns or offer exchanges?

All sales are final. Due to the nature of our one-of-a-kind pieces we are not able to offer returns or exchanges at this time. However, if your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery so we can find a resolution.

How can I cancel my order?

All orders are final with no returns accepted, unless the item has been damaged during shipping. Please thoroughly read each item’s description, confirm measurements, and view all images before ordering.

Do you have a store location?

While we don’t have a traditional brick-and-mortar, we do offer art appointments by request at our storage space in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. You can also view a smaller rotating selection of our artwork, props, and secondhand furniture at Lander Street Vintage Mall. To schedule a viewing appointment for multiple art pieces, please reach out to us at hello@maisonburel.com.

What types of projects do you take on?

We work on a range of projects, from full-service interior design and renovations to single room styling and assistance with current furniture layouts. We typically take on projects that resonate with our design philosophy, prioritizing thoughtful, collected spaces that blend vintage and contemporary elements. If you’re unsure whether your project is the right fit, feel free to submit an inquiry to start a conversation!

Do you offer consultations or standalone design advice?

Yes! If you need design guidance but aren’t looking for a full-service project, we offer one-hour virtual consultations, on-site design sessions, and styling services. These are perfect for clients who want expert advice on space planning, sourcing, or styling but prefer to execute the design themselves.

What is your pricing structure?

Each project is unique, so pricing varies based on scope and involvement. Some projects are billed hourly, while others operate on a flat fee. After reviewing your inquiry and project details, we will provide an estimate, and typically assist with expectations for the overall budget of a project.

How long does the design process take?

Timelines vary depending on the project scope. A styling session or art curation project may take a few weeks, while full-service interior design can take several months to a year depending on renovation and order timelines. After reviewing your project details, we can provide a clearer estimate of the timeline.

Do you work with clients outside of Seattle?

Yes! While we are based in Seattle, we offer virtual design services and travel for select projects. If you’re located outside the area, please reach out to discuss how we might work together.

Do you work with existing furniture and decor?

Absolutely. We love incorporating meaningful pieces into a design just as much as starting from scratch. Our approach balances vintage, new, and personal items to create a layered, lived-in feel.

Prop Styling Services

What types of prop styling do you offer?

We offer prop styling for editorial shoots, brand campaigns, interior photography, and personal projects. If you’re unsure if your shoot fits—just ask!

Do you provide props, or do I need to supply them?

We have a curated back stock of vintage and contemporary props, accessories, and artwork available for styling sessions. We also offer additional furniture and prop sourcing based on your specific project needs and are always happy to work with any pieces you want included.

Are your pieces available for rent?

Yes, our artwork and larger props/furniture are available for short-term rental. Please inquire for availability and rental rates.

Do you offer floral styling or natural elements?

Yes, we are well-versed in styling seasonal florals, branches, produce, and other organic elements as needed to add texture and warmth to your shoot.

Do you travel for shoots or only work locally?

We are based in Seattle and regularly work throughout the area, but are open to travel for the right project. Travel fees may apply depending on location and scope.

How far in advance should I book styling services?

At least 3-5 weeks in advance is ideal, however last-minute requests may be accommodated depending on availability and sourcing needs.
